When this happened in Germany many people, even Jews couldn't believe such atrocities were happening. So many did nothing until it was way too late. Are we really going to make the same mistakes??

As the winter solstice approaches, opinion polls show this is a dark time in America in more ways than the season:

—using the military on our own citizens;
—demands for obedience from universities and the private sector;

—slashing research into curing cancer and AIDS;
—causing healthcare premiums to skyrocket;
—literally killing millions overseas by slashing treatments for deadly diseases and food aid;
—doing away with anything that benefits the environment;
—rewriting history;
—attempts at voter suppression;
—racial profiling of minorities and blatant racism expressed by the POTUS;
—staggering levels of corruption at the highest levels of government.
I take heart in plummeting approval ratings for and increasing resistance against the POTUS and his party. Stay informed and keep resisting, America. And make sure you’re eligible to vote in 2026!

I waa born in 1949 & I remember the horror stories, told to me by my parents, about the Japanese concentration camps, set up in various parts of the USA.
I remember how some of my Japanese friends told us stories about their legal US citizens family members, being rounded up with illegal Japanese people, & placed into these concentration camps. It's a shame that centuries later, the treatment of human beings, legal or not, hasn't changed.
Their crime is not just being here illegally , but also for beingMexican
legal or not & that's scary. My faith in God is what comforts me, because I know that these evil Trump Admin people who are administering all this horrific torture & hate to innocent humans, will get theirs, it's just a matter of time.
