The journalist/OpEditor of my local Gannett paper opines that DOGE was dandy,bombing boats in the Caribbean nilly willy is fine,FLOCK is the best thing since sliced bread….
Should maga morons who expect trump to send them 5k for their vote still be waiting at their mailboxes for their DOGE and tariff rebate checks, or have the tiny brained forgotten about those checks already. Of course if maga keeps waiting at the mailbox for those checks, they will be somewhat weather beaten and sad...
(2) Seems to me that "modus operandi" is a lot more succinct than "way of operating." I really like the fact that the English language is made up of a collection of words and spellings from a whole bunch of languages. A little digging helps one to imagine the mingling of people centuries ago and the adaptations they made to communicating with each other. As a senior person, I am way behind in the language of the 20-year-old speakers of the American language now.
Under these circumstances, I think our favorite Flamingo was very reserved in her response to the red hat guy. I would have said: get the F…. Off my porch. ( I don’t think I have ever said that profanity out loud.) None of my family or friends would have tolerated it well either.
