DeSantis is cut in the Trump mold, and I mean the slimy black stuff you don't want to breathe in. Trump is known for stiffing people, contractors, states, etc. He also filed for bankruptcy 6 times, going for #7 in the biggest way ever—the federal government. Florida will never get that money, and what will DeSantis do should a hurricane come to the most hurricane-prone state? I doubt that FEMA will help. Trump doesn't care about the color of the state; he cares about the color of money.

Please use my tax dollars to assist immigrants who are being wrongly held and to aid all the federal workers that were wrongly fired. You may not use it to build ballrooms, arches, to assist billionaires to make more money ( Venezuela ) to pay for ICE to kill American citizens and all the ridiculously overpriced in human units to hold immigrants that have worked here for years and contribute to making our country great. If they won't give them access to a phone, can you imagine the other things they are being denied? Air conditioning, for example, would not be a luxury in the Everglades. I seem to recall reading this prison was not funded for A/C either. And I seriously doubt that very many of the unfortunates interred there are hardened criminals, unless you are of the opinion all illegals (assuming they are in fact illegals) are rapists and murderers. I can't imagine what life has done to DeSantis and Trump (and possibly you) that hardens them so against society. Perhaps a person of color frightened them as a child.
