While results in Florida did not reflect the blue wave we did have gains.Dems won the 4 gerrymandered seats and Republicans lost their supermajority in the Florida legislature.Locally, our Moms-For-Liberty supported incumbent school board member, funded by PAC $$$,lost in a huge upset.
Onward…still much work to do in Florida but we’ll get there eventually.
Happy to see the national results. As for FL, those results need to be granulated. Clearly, the 1.5 million R over D registration advantage did not show up……or, NPA went D big time. It would be instructional to analyze that since the margins I am seeing suggests the reddest of red moniker may be losing its grip on Florida.
I am grateful that the state legislature flipped, but I am so very disappointed in the Florida outcome. I truly do not understand the stupidity that so many people have been brainwashed. Yes, Angie Nixon and David Jolly did well, but stupidity came out on top. :(
Thanks, J.C., could you please recheck your SHARE link for today... seems to be linked to your yesterday column ....or it just might be my bleary eyes from late, late, late night election results watch, thanks!
The success of the country did not reach Florida fully, why ? Do we not have the same problems as the rest of our country or is loyalty to party more important than the needs of all our Floridians. Through voting we have now inherited our next Desantos corruption and all. For all the retired people who are comfortable because they worked hard and had the luxury of living in times when it was easier to save for a rainy day be conscious that today is not like yesterday and every decision that we make will affect generations to come
Ah yes. Fla. My late great state. Where stupidity comes to retire and eventually die. But first they vote.
Celebrating the country today! 🌊

Sadly, the blue wave did not hit the beaches of the state with the most shoreline of any in the U.S. But races were close and the message is clear.
Nice!

Feel pretty flippin' relieved, overall. Sorry my state of Florida did not, but cheers to you J.C. for giving your all.
My apologies: Byron Donald's total had a typo in the emailed version of this newsletter. It has been corrected. The correct number is 4,132,112.
