But wait, there's more: Judge Williams wrote that there was "never adverseness between the Parties" because the administration effectively controlled both sides of the litigation, and that the plaintiffs "acted in bad faith," characterizing the lawsuit as an attempt to manipulate the judicial process rather than seek judicial resolution of a genuine legal dispute.

Attorney Alejandro Brito was referred to the Florida Bar for possible disciplinary proceedings, asking the state bar to determine whether ethical rules were violated. Attorney Daniel Epstein was barred from appearing in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida for one year. Does anyone else recall Al Pacino's climactic courtroom scene in "...and justice for all"? I consider it to be a guiding principle for all professional activity: "YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO STAND FOR SOMETHING!"

I pray that Trump's perfomance as 45 and 47 will convince the American people once once and for all that we should never elect a businessman as president of the United States.

Epstein who? And the beat goes on.

Oh, that's just Trump being Trump.

Thank God we have checks and balances.

It's hard for me to believe that as recently as 1973 a group of Republican senators went to the White House and told President Nixon that he had to resign or he would be impeached and convicted. Where, along the way, did the Grand Old Party lose its soul?

Is there a red line for Trump?

It just never occurred to our founding fathers to impose term limits on members of Congress. They were more concerned that no one would want to take such a thankless job.

Judge Kathleen Williams has described Trumps' charges to gain judicial legitimacy for a settlement had no viable basis in law or fact". Pardon my English translation of Judge Williams but Trump falsely attempted to gain court approval when the facts did not support the allegation. This phony rich nobody has been distorting facts any time it suits him. Where was democrat accountability when the January 6th findings were revealed? or when he was convicted of felony? Where are attorneys Raskin, Harris, Schumer, Garland and the majority of democrats who are lawyers? We, the citizens , are expected to sit patiently while this pretend POTUS destroys lawful government? Small wonder there have been assassination attempts. I understand impeachment requires votes and elections are scheduled. Judge Kathleen Williams, thank you for your common sense and for giving judicial definition to the corruption we are facing. I hope enough voters understand and a few sleeping elected democrats will become motivated enough to attack Trump inadequacy as POTUS.

Over my +70 years on planet earth, of which 50 were spent as a registered Republican I saw Presidents from both parties that I was less than impressed with. Donald Trump has achieved an all-time low as the person representing all that is good about this country. He is a criminal who takes great pride in showing his criminality in public as well as a common lack of decency. My values haven't changed and for that reason I cannot in good conscious support what the Republican Party has become.

Thanks, Mr Bruce, for keeping us informed so well. I have to suppose that is why you make the big bucks!

Can you imagine if Judge Eileen Cannon caught the case?!

I’m in love with Judge Williams.

So we have maybe three hours before the all caps social post about rigged judges and Obama?

Now, if this judge can actually cause conquences for the lawyers involved it qould be fantastic. I do look forward to the appeal filing. I curious as to what, if any, legal basis they come up with for why this ruling is in error. The standard "the ruling hurt my feelings" appeal, sadly, might work.
