Things may be shifting but as far as trusting the Republicans to "do the right thing" for the American people, I don't. The Republican party has backed, for the last few years, almost every idiotic, illegal, unconstitutional thing that Trump has pulled. So now that, as many predicted, they have been pulled down by Trump, they are trying to distance themselves from him. That does not change who they are and what drove them to sanction, for so long, the acts of this maniac! Stop the arch, stop the ballroom, stop giving (he says trading) away our National parks to his buddies, start taking care of our planet, etc., etc. When the republicans can do that, I might possibly believe they could be worthy of being our (We the People) voice/s in Washington and work for the people, not for themselves.
He might be downplaying Trump on his web site and his promotional material, but everyone can be sure that he’s not changed his policies. In fact, Byron’s policies will be very bad for Floridians. He’s said that if Amendment 3 doesn’t pass in November, as governor he will implement it. He’s proposed legislation to overrule Army Corps of Engineers oversight, which with the SCOTUS overruling of Clean Water Act, makes the Everglades development opportunity. With Data Center backed $25M in PAC money into the state, and a quarter of it going to Donalds, you can be sure Florida is going to get data centers, whether folks want them or not. And to top it off, Donalds support of small scale nuclear reactors to address data centers power needs, we will get small scale nuclear buried in holes. (Look at latest article from Gulfshore News). With Trump administration removing oversight and “streamlining permitting” for nuclear, what could ever go wrong with that for Florida?
My MAGA Rep has also scrubbed mention of T’s endorsement on social media and minimized it on his campaign w-site.I agree with other comments that while MAGAs may be downplaying their connection to T, their policies remain the same.They.have.not.changed.So we must continue to shout out how they are all complicit in this raging dumpster fire when talking with voters,commenting on social media,writing Letters To Ed,protesting + + 📣

I think it's a huge mistake for Jolly not to debate Donalds. This is like walking away when your opponent is on the ropes.
