Wow! I had no idea of the depth of corruption of DeSantis regarding college education. I thought Congress had cushy, no-nothing jobs, but now, I want to be the head of a college! Remember, voters, you are the ones who voted for DeSantis and the Republican legislature. I sure hope we don't have any major hurricanes since DeSantis wasted billions on his detention center. DeSantis does nothing out of the kindness of his heart; there's always an underlying motive.
The level of corruption in this administration is shameful. As a longtime public school teacher, I struggled to make ends meet. The fact that my tax dollars were spent to imprison many innocent people at an exorbitant cost is infuriating. That money could have been spent on education, healthcare and the environment. The fact that DeSantis is a climate change and vaccine denier makes him unfit to hold office. He is a disgrace.
The outrageous salaries of the plundering parasites in Florida's university system and others like them in other states can easily be fixed. A Congress that returned the top tax rate a little higher than Eisenhower days of say, 99% would do the trick. Then get rid of protected unearned income tax breaks like carried interest, etc. End with an inheritance tax with a top rate of 99%. This scum would die out in just a generation.
