Florida, under Democratic leadership, was once a fair state. Once the Republicans took over, Florida has been going downhill since. Gov. DeSantis ignores the Florida Constitution just as Pres. Trump ignores the American Constitution. Mr. Jolly needs to become more well known so that Floridians can understand what he stands for. Illustrating the differences will help people decide when voting for our next governor.
Thank you for writing this. I’ve heard several Democrats make negative comments about Jolly because he was once a Republican. I’ve met him briefly three times now—the first time when he was speaking at a convention of attorneys who represent the elderly and disabled—when he was still an R. I’m completely convinced he’s the real deal. The last time I heard him speak, his passion and ideas brought tears to the eyes of this lifelong Democrat.
Agree, Lyn. I look forward to voting for Jolly. Fans of his primary opponent can speak up and convince me otherwise, as I don't know much about him but am open minded. Whoever should hopefully win in November needs to undo almost everything Death-Santis has done.

Jolly has suddenly decided to care about people. He didn't care about the employees of the Regional Loan Center who were inhaling toxic air as a politician. Mr. Jolly has suddenly become enlightened. While change is always welcomed, Florida deserves a Governor who has always fought for the people. I believe Jerry Demings has a track record speaks for itself. I encourage people to do their research and not just listen to who has the most money or fame. Past deeds matter. It is time for Florida to start voting in their BEST interest instead of who is loudest, has the most money or most popular.
