I wish I lived in Key West, then I could hang out with my pals Miss Mingo and Ted Lund. Ted, btw, is doing a fantastic job covering the Keys on his Substack site. When I was much younger (a teenager, in fact), the UPI guy in Tampa taught me how to do radio splits. I truly miss the sound of teletype machines.
Life as a weight-bearing exercise. What a perfect turn of phrase. I know so many people, myself included, who have had to completely realign their relations with friends (now former friends) and family. It can be wrenching. Hang in there. And thank you very much for subscribing.
You don’t possibly think that the Republicans are keeping Congress closed because they would have to swear in the Democratic Arizona Congresswoman, who would then vote to release the Epstein files? I am upgrading to paid. Great work!

Were that true, it would mean House Speaker Mike Johnson sold his soul to a false idol; it would mean Republicans care nothing about keeping their word; it would mean they are more interested in feeding the pockets of billionaires than the mouths of poor children! I could go on...
