Baby steps! We will get there! Here in Tampa's District 14, too!

Does anybody really doubt that Trump tells his family members and the few friends (more like hangers on) he has ahead of time before taking actions he knows will goose the market? Everything is about corruption, pettiness, and revenge for this miserable human being.

Hooray for Florida, we won out last night in Mar-a-lago and in Hillsborough!

What happened in Trump's Mar-a-Lago state-legislative district yesterday couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. A nicer guy (a low bar, indeed!) would have more respect among his neighbors. A nicer guy would have his neighbors cheering for him and, if he were a politician, supporting folks committed to his agenda. Clearly not so for this President. I guess it is an example of the old adage, "Familiarity breeds contempt." Certainly it does when the subject is a contemptible character!

The election yesterday was NOT a runoff election! Please correct that error. On January 9, the primary for the special election for FL HD 87. The winners of the primaries were Democrat Emily Gregory and Republican Jon Maples. On March 24, the Special Election for that seat was held and Emily Gregory won.

Oh, good catch. I identified it as a special election at the top of the story, then later noted that runoff elections don't get a lot of publicity ordinarily. Which is true, but it more accurately, in this context, should have said either special election or legislative election. I'll update the story on the website accordingly. Thank you.

I couldn't be happier but wait yes I could. The Democrats have flipped 29 seats so far and they have more work to do in flipping a lot more! The Democratic party has my full support as it's had my entire life. I'm an implant from Massachusetts and my lifetime idol still stands with JFK I'm proud to say and with everything comes good and not so good but with the Democrats at least I can say 'good'. The Republican party has not demonstrated anything 'good' to me to change my position or party affiliation. It's always been 'bad and not so bad'. This shift is not only because we have some wonderful 'average' Americans running for Democratic seats, ones we can actually relate to but because the choices for the opposing party are so BAD in every aspect of the word. Let's get Congress Working Again!

Is this like a middle finger-in-your-eye to DumbTell? - SSSCL (Yes, I’ve decided to be more alliterative.)

It was the Democratic party's fault for not being ORGANIZED and Crystal Clear in demonstrating what was different about them in connection to the Republicans. It was too Little to Late. That's why the Terro Republicans WON with their Dictator as commander in TERRORISM.

That is correct. For decades the Republican Party has played the long game down and dirty while the Dems had their heads buried in the sand only to come up with the slogan "when they go low..." no no no, when they go low we go lower should have been the answer. So now here we are doing damage control and trying to remove a cancer that should have been chemo bombed long ago. I'm anxiously awaiting articles of impeachment. 🙏🏻
