Florida is not exactly the cradle of presidents

With President’s Day on the horizon, we take this opportunity to note that Florida is the largest state to never have been the birthplace of a president.

Many presidents, naturally, have visited here. Some have launched wars here. Others have inhabited so-called “Florida White Houses.”

But not a single commander-in-chief was born in the Sunshine State.
