I’ve followed Angie Nixon’s career for some time now and never once have I ever thought she’s bought and paid for. However, when a candidate is a millionaire, that’s not someone for the people or of the people, that is the 1% who will ultimately push for the rights of that 1%. Vote Nixon.
I’m a lifelong Dem, living in Hillsborough County for 8 years.
Nixon got my vote because she tells us what she will do for Floridians. All Vindman does is ask for my money and talks about corruption on the Federal level. So out of touch with everyone in Florida, women and all minorities.
Since the late 1960's I have been engaged as a volunteer activist in the civil rights and peace movement against the racist Vietnam War and remain engaged in a number of areas that required our prompt attention . . . .
Such as improving the safety and nutritional food we eat by shipping organic fruits and veggies from our Florida cooperative in Sarasota and Gainesville, Florida going to the food co-ops up north as far as Boston and returning with northern state's cooperative's goods and organic foods for the folks in our southern co-op movement.
We then addressed our environment, by closing down the toxic Koppers Wood Treatment Plant in Gainesville, Florida as a EPA SuperFund Site in the early 1980's.
Next, we stopped the RTS bus transit system from continuing their rancid race and sex-based discrimination in 1983 against all women and Black or males of other colors public employees, while also ending the million dollar theft of Regional Transit System (RTS) bus fares between 1974 and September 7th,1983 that the good ole boys of the Dixie Democrats used as a dark money campaign slush funds to give to their own candidates for local, state and federal elective public offices in order to retain their strong hold and control over north central Florida for several years longer . . . .
Yet, not one of these criminal cohorts were ever charged or convicted of a million dollars theft of bus fares that had to first be "laundered" to hide from whence all the bus fare coins came from before being deposited in their slush fund bank accounts prior to distributing these stolen funds.
None of these criminals, some of whom were upper crust public employee managerial personnel and an assortment of wealthy, powerful movers and shakers of this region have never been brought to Justice!
Since then, I have become an unpaid volunteer coordinator for some of the excellent Florida Constitutional Ballot Initiative petitions to secure the right to go vote for laws that we can create to pass; thereby become a state law that a majority of citizen's approve by 60% or more and vote to become our new law that most folks want to live with and abide by, here in Florida.
Today, I am part of a volunteer citizen's action group, Freedom For Floridians (FFF) who publicly support our honest Federal District Court Judges and court personnel while we seek to identify and remove corrupt federal district judges and court personnel in Florida to instill justice into our system of laws.
We are part of the NO Kings coalition movement of individuals, groups and organizations who expect to remove Trump and his criminal cohorts from our government and send many who broke our laws to prison for violating our laws and acts of treason against the USA.
I greatly value both of the Vindman brothers for what they did during the impeachment of Trump, charged for colluding with the Russian dictator Putin, to steal our 2020 election . . . and likely paid a large role in the 2016 presidential elections that first put Trump into the White House, to the regret of a majority of USA voters nowadays; which has been followed by the third illegal intrusion in our presidential election of 2024 to assist Trump to "win" once again, by cheating!
However, I do believe Angie Nixon would be a better selection, given her social and political background in Florida, her personality and her clear, honest drive to correct the wrongs often performed against the poor; to achieve equality for women and men of all colors, ethnic background, and their religion; then, address the imbalance of the very wealthy paying so little in taxes and for us to follow the lead of other countries who recognize that the workers create the wealth of a nation, not the rich; so we need to restore tax funds paid by the millionaires and billionaires in order to pay for medical care for all; public education from pre-school on through to college degrees, careers, and a good income for all. no matter what task or role they have in life.
I do urge American citizens to consider who to elect to make our nation a better place for us all, not just the few . . . and we can do it this year and put our nation back on a better path for all of our futures moving the USA forward as a free people ought to go!

I love them both. I voted for Vindman because I think he has a better shot of beating the useless, reprehensible Moody. If Angie wins the primary, I’m all in. I think she’s fantastic.
One thing you forgot to include is that they differ on healthcare, while healthcare is about to be cut off even further to millions as part of the BBB this coming Jan, Angie supports expanding healthcare to all, whereas Alex does NOT. That alone makes many willing to vote Angie Nixon in possible future without healthcare…it’s not so much about who’s progressive and who’s not, it’s more about who most closely resembles your values: do you believe everyone has a right to healthcare and a living wage? I do.
Angie Nixon is the real deal, a real progressive with interests of the American working class (which is made up of most people. If you live off of dividends or rent, you are not working class) at the top of her concerns. Vindman, on the other hand seems to be one of these non-American Firsters, the ones who hold the Ukraine and Zionist Israel in higher regard than America. It is telling that when he testified to impeach Trump, his main concern was stopping weapons flows to the Ukraine and protecting Americans making money off of Ukrainians, such as the Bidens.
