But it seems that once a consensus is built among enough people, fascism cannot be easily defeated or even set aside. For German Nazis, it had to be the Red Army storming Berlin. Even though incredible resources were devoted to these ships, their impact on the war was negligible and the Battle of Jutland sent Germany's battleships back to port and they were unable to break Britain's blockade. Thus, Germany's submarines took over the sea duty.
