I am so grateful that the leadership in Florida has rightfully returned parents the right to control what goes into their children's bodies. No government should mandate injections of any kind. Yes, make things available, but no mandates.
Republicans are pro-choice regarding lifesaving vaccines for children but against women's choice regarding their bodies. Those hypocrites talk about life but when a child is born they forget about their special needs and basic public health issues.
This is precisely what this bill proposes. The very heart of the doctor/patient relationship is the principle of patient autonomy and informed consent. This is very often in direct conflict with public health mandates (read: mandatory COVID 19 vaccination or lose your freedom to make a living or even go out in public). Mandating vaccines takes away the the patient autonomy. It is unethical
