Republicans have sunk a long way in my lifetime, to now being an autocratic, theocratic kleptocracy that no longer serves the people. Old school R's disgusted with this fact need to join Dems and Independents to correct this mess by voting against ALL R's.
I have been following this Hope scandal for over a year. I live in the Tampa area and the St Pete Times Newspaper has headlined it a couple of times it. I give the Times a lot of credit for not letting this be swept under the rug!
Could someone please explain to me what has happened to the Republican Party? There was a time they were considered a law and order group. Now they are a bunch of criminals, but I guess they are taking their lead from the chief criminal infesting the White House.

Sorry to be negative but I wish to hell that government in the State of Florida (entire USA actually) would learn how to punish people who abuse the government and the people it serves rather than spending time mopping up the mess and dreaming up ways to prevent more. Laws do not prevent crime, except by working people who know they are not above it. I fear that it is going to take a great deal of actual blood shed to straighten things out, although if done efficiently it would relieve people of having to vote offenders out of office. I'd better clamp the lid on my opinion box as the flames are getting high. Fortunately, I'm old and poor so all I can do is bitch! Happiness and peace to all (well, almost all ;-( .
When would be “kings” are put in office, surrounding themselves with loyal sheep then corruption abounds! It is time for a party change in Florida! You can’t like Scott or DeDantis’ prints on everything!
