The maga cult won't stop supporting trump unless he boots hd vance from the VP slot and replaces him with Ghislainee Maxwell and then that's a toss up whether he still gets support maga. ICE could invade rgeir homes, snatch their children and send them to hard labor camps and maga would justify the kidnapping as being good for America.
Speaking of deluded cults, will floridiots ever wake to the fact that their quality of life is lessened by republican super majorities? Of course Ronny High Heels will try and destroy democracy as best he can or trump might have ICE invade immigrant rich FL with guns loaded for action. It's tragically comical that trump's ice goons invade MN and soon ME but ignore two of the three states with the largest numer of immigrant populations TX and FL. trump the demented hates blue state immigrants but not red state immigrants. Flash! It's not about immigration, it's political retribution against states that find Jeffrey Epstein's best friend a predator in thief.
"32 percent believe it is better off."........Sample size must have been skewed towards long-haul truck drivers and xenophobes. If you buy a lot of gasoline, I guess 13 cents a gallon (national average change) is something, and of course, if you only want immigrants from Sweden, then I guess shutting off immigration was a good thing too. Otherwise, what tangible benefit accrued to the average voter in 2025?
"That rating among unaffiliated voters may be especially important in Florida where a quarter of all voters have declined to register with a political party and are considered NPAs, or No Party Affiliation."
When I moved to Florida, I was initially impressed by the volume of NPA registrations........but then I saw this article.........a Florida Chamber poll found Donald Trump and Rick Scott leading among NPAs in late 2024, with Trump reportedly ahead among that group 52%–42%.........turns out most Florida NPAs are just Trumpers too ashamed to register as Republican. No wonder Dem candidates don't stand a chance outside of Broward County...........Florida actually does not have a huge number of truly independent voters other than by label.
Thats independent voter split is really telling. When 52% of unaffiliated voters say things are worse compared to 24% who say better, thats a 2:1 ratio that campaigns usually cant recover from. I remember seeing similar spreads in the 2018 midterms and it translated directy into seat losses. The Epstein files polling at 22% approval is particuarly brutal.
How does this man (Trump) retain any support, he is an embarrassment to America!

If people could see my window, the sign in it would read, “Single Senior Cat Lady.”
This is one of my responses to this essay of yours and to Mark Carney (Canadian Prime Minister).
