The fact that Florida has a vaccine skeptic as its main health official is terrifying. Likening vaccination to slavery is abhorrent. If my children were still school aged, I would be planning my move out of state ASAP

So sad and dangerous when radical ideologues take over public health. Vote for the Democrats in next year's election!

Florida officials have volunteered the children of the state to be the control group for vaccine studies. Growing up in the 50s, I watched my cousin spend his whole life in a wheelchair due to complications from measles. And another cousin uses leg braces and crutches to this day because he had polio. Outrageously the GOP is willing to subject children and their families to these possibilities while cutting services that they would need should the worst happen!

Aside from being ignorant and dangerous, the decision not to immunize your children is supremely selfish. It not only risks the health of your own children, but puts at risk children who are too young to receive particular immunizations, the immunocompromised, and others who cannot be vaccinated for specific reasons.

It's amazing to me the hypocrisy of this administration - the government doesn't have the right to tell you what to put in your body, but you don't have the right to choose whether you want to give birth to a child or not? Oh, and btw give them a gun when they're born so they can shoot up schools because that's also their right. I swear we're all going to hell in a handbasket and the current is getting stronger all the time.

The Republican Party should hang its head in shame by placing an unqualified person in power who surely does not care about our children.

Hard to believe that we pay a salary to our Surgeon General for both public health and university "contributions."

Mump vaccination will prevent childhood males from having testicle damage due to one of possible effects of the mumps.

This si one of countless videos I have watched. I have always agreed to vaccination in the past; but there is something about mRNA that needs more research. So yes when you think about it, doing your own research and have the right to decide whether to vaccinate your children and yourself sounds like a human right.
