Regular readers of this column know that I have a lot of fun chronicling all the silly, made-up holidays that pop up on the calendar.

For instance, March 26 is Live Long and Prosper Day, Good Hair Day, and National Spinach Day, among many others.

But, as it turns out, it is also a day designed just for scribblers like me. It’s Make Up Your Own Holiday Day.
