Every county in Florida seems to handle elections differently. In Duval County, you can take your completed mail-in ballot and drop it in a special box at all early voting locations during the time when people can vote. Perhaps your county has a similar setup.
In Sarasota, we have taken our mail-in ballots to secure drop offs that have two poll workers there to check that signatures, etc are correct before you drop them in. These sites have been at local library branches in the last few years so it’s a lovely added benefit that I can look for new books, or pick up hold books, at the same time.

Specific things need to be done. Exactly what are they? Spell it out. Something ordinary people can demand get done, or they will withhold all further financial support.
Demand proof of effective action.
First, full documentation of the exact steps to be taken. Then, proof they ARE being taken, that they HAVE been taken.
Second, WE have to get control of both parties, or abandon them and join together in a sane, balanced third party rather than abstaining from the useless madness as outsiders. The destructive, oppositional dualism of both parties - the death of the sane, cooperative Center where progressives and conservatives understand that no eagle can fly with one wing fighting the other - is our big underlying problem.
