Yeah, I don't trust Donny to have thought this out at all.

I suspect President Dufus is going to find out about fafo soon. If I was Venezuelan, I would not want him trying to run MY country.. Hell, he could barely run a casino.

If this isn’t a “Wag the Dog” moment, there never has been one. The complex inner structure of Venezuelan gangs, drug cartels, and Maduro’s militia—also locked and loaded, has yet to be unleashed on a White House fully ignorant of what people will do to protect their homeland and drug business. (Think VietCong.)

What a collection of ignorant, demeaning views! If there are drug cartels in Venezuela, America's DEA has never heard of them. "Maduro's militia" is the Venezuelan National Army. But you are correct that people will protect their homeland, but again you are wrong about the Viet Cong—Vietnam's heroin came from Laos, courtesy of the CIA. What do they teach people in school?

And how is President Maduro "a madman with dictatorial impulses"? Maduro is the elected leader of a socialist country carrying on the Bolivarian Revolution begun by Hugo Chavez. What you repeat is nothing more than the malign propaganda of privileged elites who have lost some of their privilege. Chavez began using oil income to improve the lives of ordinary Venezuelans, not for the benefit of the wealthy comprador class. And, just the existence of opposition press (and the opposition itself) belies any notion of censorship or oppression. You just repeat the "sour grapes" of ninnies who are no longer quite as rich as they once were, and the exiles are simply those who cannot exist in a society that frowns on exploitation, except for those who felt they had to flee due to the hardships imposed by US unilateral sanctions.

America's attack on the Bolivarian Revolution began with GW Bush and has been maintained in every succeeding administration—it is an American thing. What Trump does is just more extreme and might call attention to the brutal actions of the US for many years.

It is is nice to hear from an imperial agent! No one in Venezuela except for the so-called opposition believes you. Because someone in apparent authority says something does not make that thing true, and International election monitors observe that Venezuela has the most transparent and fair election system in the world—miles above the Americans'. Nicolás Maduro is the elected President of Venezuela and his only crime is socialism. All your little story does is validate the illegal abduction of the elected President of Venezuela.

Decline in earnings? You and President Trump both ignore the effects of the very brutal sanctions place on Venezuela and the Venezuelan people. These sanctions have hurt the oil industry most; regardless, in the past years the Boliavarian government has brought many thousands out of poverty, have built thousands of houses for poor people, and achieved 100% literacy. Again, Venezuelas crime is that it is socialist and the government works for the people, not Yanqui corporations.

Hostile corporate takeover….spot on. Although, the tangible benefits from the heavy crude might be awhile in realization. As for the Venezuelan people, I suspect Trump cares less for democracy than a puppet government he can control.

I spent a bit of time in Caracas for business in the mid-90s. Never developed a liking for it.

I am much more interested in our annexations of Greenland and Cuba. I am told Arctic Char is quite the river fishing challenge and who can resist the lure of a return to the Havana nightlife of the 50s.

If anyone wants to "borrow" the nectarine nazi and take him to visit the Hague, I am ok with that.
