Apparently, the governor has the funeral business in mind. I will severely limit the number of shopping visits and time in stores. The world has become very, very dangerous, for no good purpose.

Just another reason to abandon this Sunshine/Gunshine increasingly bigoted and nasty place to live. So sad..

I am very concerned that the NRA is not getting nearly enough credit for mass shootings. I think all future stories about mass shooting should start or end with: " Another Mass Shooting today brought to you by the good folks at the NRA" or "Another Mass Shooting today brought to you by politicians who are owned by the NRA"

It's a start. But let's not get complacent. As responsible gun owners our knowledge of whom we choose to shoot should be recognized. Therefore the next step should be a true Open Season. Naturally we will be very careful to only shoot those who deserve shooting.

If I walk into any public establishment and see anyone with a gun I'm turning around and walking right back out. How are we supposed to know who is the good guy and who is the bad guy? Why would you want to open carry anyway, it takes away the element of surprise? This is just another testosterone-fueled attempt at overcompensation and intimidation.

Floridiots and open carry is like strapping dynamite to your side in a forest fire... The crime and murder rate in FL wasn't high enough? Facts never mattered in FL, but the looser the gun restrictions the higher the murder rate. Same with vaccines. FL is likely to take the prize as the first third world state in US. MS, AL, AR and LA are pissed!

tik tok... I am certain trump will have his grubby, disfigured paws in the deal somewhere. No trump scam, no trump deal.

Like others here, if I walk in a restaurant, grocery store or any other place and see anyone with a gun I'm turning around and walking out. Too many mentally unbalanced people can walk in a Walmart and buy a gun and walk out the door shooting. It seems that our governor wants to make the state number one in gun deaths but don't worry, he will ask for prayers and tell us how he is praying for all the ones who lost children and/or loved ones in the next mass shooting. FloriDUH the Land of GUNshine.

Meanwhile, I got a jury summons and was told I couldn't bring knitting needles with me because weapons. And I have to have something to do to keep calm because I'm neurodiverse and get anxiety. Shame I don't use guns for knitting, right?

Ridiculous!! What is the purpose of walking around with a gun? Florida is out of control! How many deaths will it take to wise up a restrict guns. No one is saying you can’t own a gun but we need laws!!! So happy whenever I leave the state.

If I see a gun anywhere, I'll leave. Restaurants, stores, anywhere. Can't take the chance to be shot.

When will Floridians learn?! Take away books, try to rewrite history but let them open carry guns. Just awful.

About the time I tell myself that it can't get any worse - this disease of corruption and cowardice has no bounds. OK, teachers and parents - school boards, and, yes, law enforcement agencies, be prepared. We are the most violent, corrupt, greed-bound country on this planet - school violence is already at unprecedented rates. I can hear it now - "Well, if parents are concerned, let them stay home to school their kids" in an economy driven by greed where even two incomes aren't enough to cover rent, food, gas, utilities, clothing - you know, the basics. "Law Enforcement"??? I say again, what does the law have to do with morality, ethics. Cowards. Cowards. Corrupt cowards

Another dangerous step backwards which will lead to more violence and death.

So no one protects us. The governor doesn't care about normal people who get shot at over nothing but it is okay for someone with a gun to just start shooting. What a joke Florida is with this incompetent governor and legislature
