While I still have hope that there will be a shift away from at least some republicans, it is a dim hope. tRump has gotten away with sooo much because his sycophants have all lost their minds, their values and their souls... hence, to date, he/they have gotten away with so much, I am concerned that they will still try to appeal this ruling and somehow continue to raid the Treasury cookie jar... after all, if tRump could bankrupt his own casinos, he is well on the way to bankrupting our country... financially as well as morally... I am doing my best to keep hope alive so that despair will NOT get the last word...
What I want to know is WHY is it we always see ICE killing hard working people women and children but we never see them arrest the "worse of the worst"❓ WHY is it of all the detentions 90% have no criminal record ❓ WHY is it the cartels are never arrested by ICE ❓
I'm grateful for the courage of those, like this judge, who are standing firm for the principles of democracy and justice. Trump and those who helped put and keep him in power have been pillaging every aspect of our riches- money, land, laws, art, you name it.Hope there is something left when this is over.
Does this mean that our Jan 06 heroes won't be able now to apply for recompense for their wrongful convictions, or was that another Trump fund? In any event, I hope that somehow these heroes eventually get what is coming to them. You know, Trump is treating the United States as if it were just a big hedge fund he was running. It's only a matter of time until he figures out some way to start selling off its assets and then taking a contractor's fee for himself. Another good column, J.C.
