“As Florida Attorney General, it was Moody and her office that approved the diversion of $10 million of taxpayer money to the Hope Florida Foundation. And the Attorney General did so without placing any of the safeguards or guardrails her office would typically require to make sure the money was properly spent.”

“Since being appointed to fill the Senate seat vacated by Secretary of State Marco Rubio in 2025, Moody has consistently supported restrictive voting legislation based on false claims that illegal voting by noncitizens is widespread in U.S. elections.

Measures Moody has supported include Trump’s SAVE America Act, which she co-sponsored when it was introduced in the Senate earlier this year. If passed, it would disenfranchise millions of eligible voters by requiring them to show documents like a passport or birth certificate to register to vote.”

I think Florida should have open primaries. I didn't vote for Nixon because I saw an article about her and she was talking about Jacksonville when she should be talking about all of Florida. Also, I didn't think she would be the best candidate to challenge Moody. We won't know until the general election, and I'm fine with being proved wrong.
